Welcome to my site, which is under development.

I am a wood artist.  I make artistic and functional creations out of wood.  My inspiration comes from the rich colors, patterns, and textures of nature and the American West.

I specialize in art for the home such as turned vases, bowls, cooking utensils, ikebana, pepper mills
, cheese boards and pens.  I also make pet urns for that special family member.  All of my work is hand crafted from local and exotic wood.

I often embellish my work by carving, piercing, and burning.  I airbrush or color my pieces using dyes, stains, or acrylic paints and natural fibers, to enhance their natural beauty.
